Max Verstappen, despite leading for a significant portion of the race, finished fourth due to a mandatory two-stop strategy that disrupted his race plan. His Oracle Red Bull Racing teammate Yuki Tsunoda finished in 17th position. This result placed Verstappen third in the Drivers' Championship with 136 points, trailing McLaren's Oscar Piastri (161 points) and Lando Norris (158 points).

Isack Hadjar capped off an impressive weekend by securing the best finish of his fledgling F1 career with a sixth-placed finish at the Monaco Grand Prix. The Visa Cash App Racing Bulls driver had already excelled in practice and qualifying before delivering a mature drive around the testing street circuit. It was an excellent team display in Monte-Carlo as teammate Liam Lawson secured his first points of 2025 courtesy of an eighth-place finish.
