The CRF450R brings you rock-solid reliability, with its ability to punch out of the gate first and build blistering lap times. A new front brake caliper also shaves more vital grams. Revised oil and spring/damping settings for the 49mm Showa Up Side Down fork enhance reaction, complemented by a ‘Super Finish’ process for the rear shock’s damper, plus revised Pro-Link ratio.

More Power and torque is extracted from the engine – via HRC-led tuning of the cylinder head, intake and exhaust – without sacrificing low-rpm tractability. PGM-FI has been optimised to inject twice per cycle. A 5-hole piston jet and larger-capacity scavenge pump adds durability. While the renthal Fatbar reduces the weight and flexes for optimum comfort.

The appeal is heightened by smooth aerodynamic lines of the plastics that allow ease of movement and durable film inset graphics that offer scratch-resistant style.
