The CBR650R has honed racetrack DNA for aggressive road performance. From the free spinning inline four-cylinder, DOHC 16-valve engine, there’s an exhilarating 12,000 rpm redline, 94bhp (70 kW) peak power and 63Nm torque to enjoy. Sculpted by high-speed aerodynamics the CBR650R, entices you to the open road. You turn on the engine, the unique sound of a highly-tuned four-cylinder symphony immediately transports you to that open road.

Leading the class with its power-to-weight ratio, the CBR650R features an inline four-cylinder and a DOHC 16-valve engine with a cool 12,000rpm redline, 70kW (94hp) and 63Nm @9,300rpm to play with – that’s a whole load of playtime! The engine uses a compact internal architecture, with the cylinders canted forward for optimum weight and balance.
Direct cam actuation makes the cylinder head more compact, improving efficiency. Bore and stroke is set at 67mm x 46mm with compression ratio of 11.6:1, giving the CBR650R more grunt at lower RPM. Iridium spark plugs are employed for long life. Twin airducts – either side of the fuel tank, feed the airbox and produce a throaty intake roar.

CBR650R features a rich digital LCD instrument with a new, easy-to-read design; included in the display are Digital Speedometer, Digital Bar Graph Tachometer, Dual Trip Meters, Digital Fuel Level Gauge & Fuel Consumption Gauge, Digital Clock, Water Temp Gauge, Gear position and even the Shift-UP Indicator. These indicator provides the rider with information about the gear he/she is riding in. Thus, providing an added convenience to the rider.
