Luca Marini finished P12 at the Czech GP, maintaining his streak of point-scoring finishes since returning from injury, while Joan Mir was taken out by another rider while in the top six. In the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, Honda secured a double podium in Toronto with Rinus VeeKay and Kyffin Simpson finishing second and third, extending their lead in the manufacturers' standings by 205 points with 11 wins in 13 races.
