Dakar 2026 delivered one of the closest finishes in the rally’s history, and Monster Energy Honda HRC fought until the very last second. After nearly 8,000 kilometres across Saudi Arabia, the rally was decided by just two seconds. Ricky Brabec led into the final stage and, despite a late navigation issue, secured a hard-fought second place, claiming two stage wins and another standout Dakar performance.

Monster Energy Honda HRC delivered a strong and determined performance on stage two of the Dakar Rally, as the event stepped up a gear on the demanding route from Yanbu to AlUla. Ricky Brabec set the fastest raw stage time after capitalising on his starting position, finishing third on the day once time bonuses were applied. He remains third overall, just over two minutes from the lead.
