DOHC, 4-valve and ready to rev, the single-cylinder engine of the CB300R is a compact jewel producing 27.5Nm @ 7,750rpm torque with 30.7 HP @ 9,000rpm output. There’s strong torque to punch out of corners and real power for speed. For extra around-town control, an Assist and Slipper clutch now manages the six-speed gearbox – changing up is easier, and rear wheel hop is reduced under hard braking and rapid down changes.
