A bare-boned motorcycle that pays homage to the fat-tyred ‘bobber’ silhouette of days gone by but lays down contemporary design details everywhere. Sure, it’s one great looking bike, and will casually cruise an open boulevard. But it’s so much more than that.

The CMX1100 Rebel’s 1,084cc SOHC 8-valve parallel twin-cylinder engine is derived from that of the Africa Twin. The CMX1100 Rebel gets the same upgrade giving a sporting edge to its cruising abilities and the engine produces 65kW @ 7,250rpm. But for a bike like this it’s all about torque and while peak output stays the same – 98Nm @ 4,750rpm, the response is much stronger.
Design
The CMX1100 Rebel combines a raw, ‘unprocessed’ look with modern craftsmanship, featuring a sculpted fuel tank, steel mudguards, a classic LED headlight, and a contemporary LED taillight. Its long, low profile offers a bold, authentic presence that stands out on the road.

Also part of the Rebel family is the street custom chic of the CMX1100SE Rebel. It’s the first factory Honda to wear barend mirrors; these are a stylish, aluminium cut, antiglare design. Other factory-fit features include colour matched nose cowl, specially designed fork leg gaiters and short, sporty front mudguard. A diamond-stitch seat adds style and extra comfort while an anodised radiator cover marks out the SE difference.

New 5-inch TFT Screen
The Rebel 1100 has a new 5-inch full-color TFT screen with improved visibility in bright sunlight, thanks to optical bonding. You can choose from Bar, Circle, or Simple display styles. It also connects to iOS/Android smartphones via a USB-C port in the storage compartment, which can be used for charging on the go.
4 Riding Modes of the Rebel
The Honda Rebel has 4 default riding modes: STANDARD, at low speed is relaxed but as rpm rises it unleashes much more potential. RAIN transmits low engine power and engine braking, matched to high Wheelie Control and HSTC for extra reassurance, or a relaxed ride. SPORT gives aggressive power delivery, with low Wheelie Control and HSTC intervention.
