Honda HRC Progressive Leaves RedBud With Title-Chase Leads in Both Classes

7th July 2026: Honda HRC Progressive enjoyed a standout weekend at RedBud, leaving the iconic venue with the championship lead in both the 450 and 250 classes.Hunter Lawrence claimed his third premier-class overall victory of the season with a strong 2-1 performance, moving three points clear at the top of the 450 standings. Despite a difficult second moto that included two early crashes, Jett Lawrence fought back to finish third overall and remains firmly in title contention. In the 250 class, Jo Shimoda secured his first moto win of the season and finished second overall to take over the championship lead by four points. Chance Hymas continued his encouraging form with consistent finishes, recording his strongest result of the season. The AMA Pro Motocross Championship now heads to Southwick, where Honda HRC Progressive will carry the red plates in both classes.
