Honda Motor Co. Africa and Middle East Office announced that the Honda Odyssey has won the Best MPV in the 2019 Middle East Car of the Year Awards held at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi on March 25th 2019. The Middle East Car of the Year (MECOTY) award is the biggest, most coveted award of the regional automotive industry. It integrates a complex yet transparent nomination and scoring methodology which is developed, tested and implemented by the motoring journalists of the Middle East motoring industry.
Vehicles that are ‘All New’ model over the period of 06-12 months are nominated. The cars then go through a 3-stage process namely:
