Rear 3-point ELR Seat Belt with Load Limiter
Rear Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR) seat belts with load limiters provide protection for occupants’ chests in the event of a collision. The seat belt retracts on impact, but the load limiting device releases a small amount of belt to allow for the forward momentum of the occupant and to lessen the impact to their chest.

Active Head Restraint
If a rear-end collision occurs forcefully pushing the occupant back against the seat, an internal device is activated, lifting the head restraint up and forward. By repositioning the head restraint, pressure and strain against the neck is reduced.
