Verstappen Triumphs at Italian Grand Prix with Record-Breaking Weekend

September 07, 2025, Monza, Italy – Oracle Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen claimed a commanding lights-to-flag victory at the Italian Grand Prix, marking his first win since May’s Emilia Romagna Grand Prix and his third victory of the 2025 season. The victory capped off a historic weekend for Verstappen, who set a new lap record at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza on Saturday. His time of 1:18.792 became the fastest lap in Formula 1 history, surpassing Lewis Hamilton’s 2020 Monza record by 0.095 seconds. Visa Cash App Racing Bulls’ Isack Hadjar delivered another impressive performance, starting from the pit lane and finishing in the points in 10th place. The 20-year-old continues to build momentum following his maiden podium at the Dutch Grand Prix. Oracle Red Bull Racing’s Yuki Tsunoda finished 13th, with Liam Lawson of Visa Cash App Racing Bulls close behind in 14th, rounding out a competitive weekend.

Toni Bou Dominates 2025 TrialGP World Championship as Season Concludes

8th September 2025: – The 2025 TrialGP World Championship concluded in Geddington with Repsol Honda’s Toni Bou cementing his dominance with a spectacular season finale. Bou, already crowned champion on Saturday, added two more victories on Sunday to his remarkable tally, finishing the year with 12 wins and showcasing his unrivalled consistency and skill—even as rain complicated the challenging zones. He also claimed the fastest time in the final Power Section, securing an extra point in the overall standings. Gabriel Marcelli of Montesa Cota 4RT rounded out an impressive season with a third-place finish overall. Despite some early-season errors and a few challenges in the final round, Marcelli delivered strong performances, finishing second and fourth in Sunday’s races and maintaining a presence among the top contenders.

Gajser and Fernandez finish top five at the MXGP of Turkiye

 

 

7th Sept 2025: Honda HRC’s MXGP riders Tim Gajser and Ruben Fernandez delivered consistent performances at the MXGP of Türkiye, finishing fourth and fifth overall respectively at the hard-pack circuit in Afyon. Gajser continued his push toward the podium with two solid fourth-place finishes, staying competitive with the top three riders throughout both motos. Ending just under nine seconds behind the leader in race two, the #243 remains focused on closing the gap in the final two rounds of the 2025 World Motocross Championship.Fernandez also showcased strong form, making impressive passes to secure two top-five finishes. The Spaniard demonstrated improved consistency, aiming to carry this momentum into the final rounds and return to the podium. In MX2, Valerio Lata displayed promising speed, setting the fastest lap in timed practice. While his points tally didn’t fully reflect his pace, Lata looks forward to refining his race consistency ahead of the final two rounds in China and Australia.

 

WorldSBK 2025 – France

Honda HRC Delivers Solid Performance at Nevers Magny-Cours

 

7th September 2025: The ninth WorldSBK round in France saw Honda HRC secure a positive weekend, with factory rider Xavi Vierge finishing ninth and seventh in the Superpole and Race 2 respectively, while replacement rider Sergio García impressed in his debut by scoring his first championship point with a fifteenth-place finish. Vierge consistently battled in the top ten, moving up to seventh in Race 2 and consolidating eighth in the championship standings with 122 points. García showed resilience and steady progress throughout the weekend, overcoming early setbacks in both races to demonstrate his potential for future rounds. The team continues to build momentum as the 2025 season heads into its final three rounds.

Honda HRC Castrol battle to double points finish in Catalunya

7th Sept 2025: A demanding Sunday at the Catalan Grand Prix saw Honda factory riders Luca Marini and Joan Mir finish eighth and 12th respectively, putting in strong and intense performances throughout the 24-lap race. Marini surged from tenth on the grid to battle with the leaders before holding eighth as tyre wear challenged him late in the race, moving up to 13th in the championship standings with 82 points. Mir overcame a 20th-place start due to a penalty, steadily advancing through the field and finishing 12th, collecting valuable points and developmental data for the Honda RC213V. Honda HRC Castrol remains in Barcelona for a one-day test before heading to Marini’s home Grand Prix in San Marino.
