Mir Shines in Austria with Best Finish Since 2023, Marini Extends Points Streak
18th August 2025: Joan Mir delivered his strongest result since the 2023 Indian Grand Prix, storming to a hard-fought sixth place at Spielberg after a thrilling late-race battle with Brad Binder and Francesco Bagnaia. The performance ends his run of misfortune and brings his season tally to 42 points, just 13 behind teammate Luca Marini. Marini, meanwhile, maintained his perfect record of points-scoring finishes in 2025, salvaging 13th after a tough opening lap and continuing his streak of 10 consecutive point hauls. Both riders gathered valuable race data as Honda HRC Castrol eyes further progress heading into Balaton Park next weekend.
Fernandez shows speed as returning Gajser has strong moments in Sweden
18th Aug 2025: It was a mixed weekend for Team HRC in Sweden, as Tim Gajser’s DNF–7 finish didn’t reflect his true speed, while Ruben Fernandez came within touching distance of the podium with a strong 4–8 score. Gajser showed promise with an early charge toward the top three in both motos, but a collision in race one and a late mistake in race two limited his results. Fernandez impressed with fourth in moto one and fought hard again in moto two, but just missed out on a top-three overall.In MX2, Italian youngster Ferruccio Zanchi Lata secured 10th and 15th place finishes, but continues to chase the form he displayed earlier in the season. With four rounds remaining, the team looks ahead with determination to Netherlands, Turkiye, China, and Australia.
Jett Lawrence Takes Back 450 AMA Pro Motocross Crown
16th August 2025: Honda HRC Progressive rider Jett Lawrence secured the 2025 450 AMA Pro Motocross National Championship one round early at Unadilla MX, going 1-1 to claim his second premier-class crown. The 22-year-old Australian has now won eight of 10 rounds this season, marking his ninth career professional title and Honda’s record-setting 15th in the premier class. Lawrence, who returned strong after ACL surgery, credited his team, family, and supporters for the milestone achievement. His brother Hunter sits second in the standings after scoring his first premier-class win last week, while Honda riders Jo Shimoda and Chance Hymas have also delivered four wins in the 250 class.
With one round left, Honda is also on course for the Manufacturers’ Championship before heading into the Super Motocross series in September.
