MX GP GERMANY

Lata Shines with Season-Best Performance at MXGP of Germany

1st June 2025: Honda HRC’s Valerio Lata delivered a standout performance at the MXGP of Germany, finishing fourth overall—his best result of the season—after two hard-fought fourth-place moto finishes in drastically different track conditions. The young Italian, who had already impressed with a win in the qualification race, narrowly missed the podium due to a second moto tie-breaker, but proved his grit by excelling in both dry and muddy conditions. Despite fierce competition and challenging ruts in the first moto, and heavy rain creating chaos in the second, Lata stayed composed and competitive throughout. Meanwhile, teammates Ferruccio Zanchi and Ruben Fernandez both suffered crashes on the same section of the track and were forced to withdraw, casting doubt on their participation in next weekend’s race in Latvia.

Trial GP France

Bou extends series lead in Corsica

1st June 2025: Toni Bou continued his unstoppable form at the TrialGP of Corsica, securing back-to-back victories for the third consecutive round in 2025 and extending his winning streak to six races. In sweltering conditions and highly technical zones, the Repsol Honda star outclassed rivals with clinical precision, edging out Jaime Busto by just one point on Sunday. Teammate Gabriel Marcelli showed strong pace throughout the weekend but narrowly missed the podium twice, finishing fourth overall after a tie-breaker loss in the second race. As the championship hits its halfway mark, Bou leads with 322 points, while Marcelli holds third place heading into next week’s San Marino round.

Mean while in Trial 2, Miquel Gelabert delivered a flawless performance at the French TrialGP, claiming both Sunday victories and climbing to second in the Trial2 championship standings. The Honda Montesa and RTL Electric rider showed exceptional consistency and control, cleaning 11 zones in the second race and earning maximum points to narrow the gap to class leader Harry Hemingway to just 20 points. With 233 points overall, Gelabert now heads into next weekend’s San Marino TrialGP firmly in title contention.

Penalty Drops Verstappen to 10th as Hadjar Shines Again in Spain

1st June 2025: Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya:  Max Verstappen’s podium hopes were dashed at the Spanish Grand Prix after a late-race 10-second penalty relegated him to 10th place, following an off-track excursion and contact with George Russell. Meanwhile, rookie Isack Hadjar continued his impressive form, finishing seventh for VCARB and collecting valuable points for the second weekend in a row. With 21 points, the 20-year-old now ranks ninth in the Drivers' Standings. Teammates Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson finished 13th and 11th, respectively, just outside the points.
