Herlings Dominates in Britain as Honda HRC PETRONAS Builds Championship Momentum

July 19th 2026: Jeffrey Herlings produced a dominant display at the MXGP of Great Britain, claiming a perfect 1-1 result to secure his sixth overall victory of the season. The Dutchman led every lap after taking two holeshots, closing the gap to just 11 points in the championship standings with seven rounds remaining.

Honda HRC PETRONAS also celebrated a strong weekend from Ruben Fernandez, who finished fourth overall after consistent fourth-place results in both motos, while Tom Vialle demonstrated podium-winning pace before a late mistake in race one saw him narrowly miss out. Valerio Lata rounded out the team's efforts with ninth overall as the championship heads to Loket next weekend.

Kirkwood Secures Nashville Pole as Honda Locks Out Four of the Top Five

19th July 2026: Kyle Kirkwood stormed to pole position for the Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix at Nashville Superspeedway, setting the fastest two-lap average of the session at 196.852 mph. The Andretti Global Honda driver was the only competitor to break into the 197-mph bracket, earning a valuable championship point as he continues to close the gap to series leader Alex Palou.

Honda delivered another strong qualifying performance with four of the top five starters. Championship leader Alex Palou will start fourth for Chip Ganassi Racing, ahead of teammate Scott Dixon in fifth, while Marcus Armstrong and Marcus Ericsson completed the manufacturer's top-10 showing in eighth and 10th, respectively.

Alonso Reaches the Finish as Stroll Forced to Retire in the Belgium Grand Prix

19th July 2026: Fernando Alonso finished 19th in a challenging Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps, while Aston Martin teammate Lance Stroll was forced to retire on Lap 25 with a suspected gearbox issue after an eventful opening stint.

Following an early Safety Car period and multiple position changes throughout the race, Alonso completed the full distance despite a difficult afternoon, as the team endured a disappointing Round 10 of the Formula 1 season.

Hunter Lawrence Reclaims Championship Lead as Honda Shines at Spring Creek

July 20th 2026: Honda HRC Progressive continued its impressive AMA Pro Motocross campaign with a commanding performance at the Spring Creek MX National, topping three of the four motos. Hunter Lawrence claimed a perfect 1-1 sweep to secure his fourth overall victory of the season and reclaim the 450 championship lead. Chance Hymas celebrated his first 250 moto win of the year on his way to second overall, while Jett Lawrence overcame a late-race crash to finish third overall, ensuring a double podium for Honda in the premier class. The strong results further reinforce Honda's championship credentials as the season heads into its second half.
