In a continued effort to promote safer roads across the UAE, Honda Motor Co. (Middle East & Africa Office), in collaboration with its authorised distributor Al-Futtaim Honda, has launched its second motorcycle safety training programme dedicated to commercial delivery riders.
As the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer, with annual production exceeding 16 million units, Honda has a longstanding commitment to motorcycle safety and rider education, with dedicated training initiatives implemented across markets worldwide. Against the backdrop of the UAE’s rapidly expanding food delivery sector and increasingly busy urban roads, Honda MEA and Al-Futtaim Honda are reinforcing their commitment to equipping professional riders with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the roads safely and responsibly.
The one-day intensive training programme took place on September 24, 2026, at Al-Futtaim Automotive Talent Centre, with delivery riders from leading platforms such as “TALABAT”.
Designed specifically for professionals who spend their working days navigating the UAE’s roads, the programme places rider safety at the centre of the delivery industry. Through practical training and safety-focused guidance, the initiative aims to encourage greater awareness, discipline and responsibility among commercial motorcycle riders.
The programme also reflects a broader vision for safer and more harmonious road sharing, promoting a culture of mutual respect between motorcyclists and other road users. By investing in rider education and professional development, Honda MEA and Al-Futtaim Honda seek to contribute to safer urban mobility and support the delivery riders who play an increasingly important role in everyday life across the UAE.
